In January of 2012, my original composition, Stephansdom, a piece for solo bass trombone and trombone choir, was selected as the winner of the 2012 Eastern Trombone Workshop National Composition Competition. In addition to being performed by members of the U.S. Army Ceremonial Band, Stephansdom was performed by Professor of Trombone Carl Lenthe with the Indiana University Trombone Choir in the spring of 2012. In this video, I can be seen conducting the performance.

Additionally, the success of this project has led Stephansdom to be picked up by prestigious brass music publishing company, Cherry Classics.

In the Fall of 2012, the Indiana University Concert Orchestra played my two orchestrations of Debussy's Prelude No. 1, Denseuses de Delphes . This orchestration was completed as a final project for my class, Advanced Orchestration, taught by Composition Professor Aaron Travers.
